Amazes me how unfriendly the UX of academic publishing is. I have to click log in with my institution, search the name of my institution, log in with university SSO, do 2-factor auth, wait for page to reload to see if that gives me access, click download PDF, often that takes me to a web viewer where I again have to click download PDF. Or see if VPN gives me access, which has its own convoluted login process.

Meanwhile Sci-hub is just: 1. input DOI 2. get PDF

okay. Probably just the flu, tested negative. And honestly the fever with this flu isn't even all that bad. I have had far worse flus. I am very lucky it has receded enough that I can do work.

hello, i'm embarrassed to be doing this again after someone sent me so so much money to move, but here i am.

the move is done, but it cost significantly more than i thought it would, and i'm yet again staring bills in the face (as well as possibly rent if the housing authority does not transfer my voucher in time).

Update- resolved !! Hopefully camming picks up here soon. I just need a few decent nights out of every week.
