If you want to understand contemporary fascist futurism you must first understand StarGate. Because 90% of the time, it is just a random episode or idea from the Stargate franchise. All the space force stuff, etc, are just taking ideas outright from Stargate. There is even a program called "Stargate" now. This will be the aesthetic of Reagan Star Wars 2.

Companies looking to replacing employees with agentic AI slop, just outright refusing to hire, are more likely to seek even less scrupulous methods of getting their work done when the techno-futurist promise falls flat. Like kids being made to scab in long haul trucking that couldn't be automated, something sleazier will come along. Will mean different things for different jobs, but we need some opposition ready for that eventuality.

Maybe corporate is looking for agentic AI to save them from scabs, kind of like in other industries. This is just a test, but the public AI dog-fooding burnout just shows how far the hype is from reality. The question remains: how long is tech capital willing to strike against tech workers, with hopes of an 'AI bailout'? Will the money run out first, or will hype hubris strike first?
