Good news! The FDA approved updated Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines today!!! (Still waiting on Novavax.)

I was planning to make a post today talking about how hectic this pregnancy has been but true to form the baby threw us a curve ball late last night when Nats water broke.
Our car got stolen a month ago which was a whole ordeal(insurance ended up not covering a new one)

The rationale given by the academic integrity office for dismissing the exonerating evidence (that it, too, "could have been produced using AI") is REALLY alarming to me. I'm very troubled about how much AI is destroying our ability to trust each other. And if students do all the right things, document their process, keep artifacts like notes and recordings, only to be told "we can't know those aren't AI", then they have literally NO way to defend themselves once accused. It's a witch hunt.

Wrote up a bit of a rant on Medium about a particularly distressing case I've been assisting with - a student (falsely) accused of submitting AI-generated work who has produced a ton of exonerating evidence and isn't being believed.
