If people insist, then these editors should put mutex locks on the currently edited scope which only let one person actually insert text there at a time. Maybe allow others to delete on a separate line from the one being edited, but none of this weird crap where everyone does it at once. Anything but this pure collaborative textpad with syntax highlighting hack.

Doing this as opt out is a pretty immoral thing to do. It's unclear how legal an opt-out bridge is in some countries. The person who runs the bridge is using these domains:
