@luana The comments sicken me so much, nobody ever thinks about how dystopian and fucked up it is to enforce control on devices for people just because they're young. The other day I noted an incident in which Southwest Airlines diverted to Atlanta and were boarded by SWAT because a guy used his phone timer to pray at the prescribed time, which happened to be in flight.

SWA flight attendant who was nervous because the passenger had a phone timer going off, he had chanted (prayed) in a foreign language, and he had asked about his hold bag that he wanted with him. This escalated to SWAT, along the game of telephone getting escalated to something about a ticking suitcase before being corrected.

I’ve seen plenty of people really want their gate-checked bag with them. I’ve been one of them. I’ve never had SWAT called on me.

This is some seriously Islamophobic shit, from SWA specifically and the ISA more generally.
