A 34-year-old queer Black woman, stabbed after a tailgating incident she walked away from.
She went on about her day.
Later, the man involved an older white male saw her parked in “his” neighborhood.
He assumed she didn’t belong there and chose to confront her.
His own admission confirms this.

Miashah was at her destination parked where we always park when visiting this particular relative.
He reignited a situation she had already de-escalated.
There would be no crime scene had he not returned.

Yet the media protects him.
They call him “the stabbing subject.”
They release her full name—
and include a 2013 conviction that has nothing to do with this case and truly hurts the family to have to relive.
They call his bruises self-defense,
instead of what they are—
the result of his decision to aggressively confront her.

We’re not here to undermine police.
We’re here to defend Miashah and share her side because no one else is.

It’s clear who made a choice to take a life.
The man who wasn’t where he was supposed to be deadly weapon in hand.

We need support, we need visibility, and we need justice.

@evdas their attitude is toxic and setting up the perfect environment for rampant abuse of their userbase by treating moderation inactions as moderation actions. Their ego is inflated by their awareness of their scale. Their moderation actions have been directly effected by their self-importance and elevation of their content as being too important to not be federated everywhere with consequences for their users. None of this is excusable?

Their attitude has not changed since they refused to suspend disqordia. Unless you can find me some evidence to the contrary. In all but rhetoric this is identical to how muh free speech servers operate. I am concerned they will allow this open wound to fester and an infection to take hold, allowing a breeding ground for a leftist-styled "alt fedi" (antiblack users) to center efforts around. Update: My last account got banned off kolektiva.social for the same reasons my ni.hil.ist account got banned (posting mutual aid). This new ban hit me hard as the kolektiva.social admins refused to allow me to move my followers to this account (even ni.hil.ist had the decency to allow me to move my account first before deleting), and so as a result i lost my one and only mutual aid network and now have to start from scratch.
