hey all if you're around the #Koblenz and can help, this is an emergency—my two queer kids (young adults) who left my house recently had issues with their new host and are now stranded at the station, and they have no money to come home either. we need someone I can wire money to and who could bring it in cash to them, or else someone who could host them for a day, or else someone who could help them find a Bahnhofsmission at least. they do not speak German and are in an emotionally fragile state. It's criminal than on UNIX-like systems you can typo the operator for "redirect output to this file and append" into the operator "redirect output to this file and REPLACE EVERYTHING in it" by just one keypress

Just found out about Distrobox. The export feature is amazing. You can just launch applications from other Linux distributions like android apps installed with Waydroid. There are GUIs for using it (once you've setup the initial containers) like Kontainer and DistroShelf. Amazing stuff. I thought you needed Bedrock Linux or QubesOS for something like this.
