SWA flight attendant who was nervous because the passenger had a phone timer going off, he had chanted (prayed) in a foreign language, and he had asked about his hold bag that he wanted with him. This escalated to SWAT, along the game of telephone getting escalated to something about a ticking suitcase before being corrected.

I’ve seen plenty of people really want their gate-checked bag with them. I’ve been one of them. I’ve never had SWAT called on me.
