US Border agents just shot two people in Portland, Oregon today.
It's almost as if they are intentionally trying to desensitize us to their violence, to make us accept that they will kill whoever they want, whenever they want.
But if we do that, things will only get worse.
All around the country, we must flood the streets to show that we will not be intimidated. We have to build the capacity to defend our communities from the murderers and kidnappers in ICE. How we rise to this challenge will determine the future for all of us.

I remember when Bruce Schneier had a reputable security blog and talked about exploits and botnets in detail. I stopped reading a while back (can't remember how long ago) and it has devolved into some AI policy-wonk bullshit by a white dude that doesn't even use the word "bias" anywhere. Nor actually relavant security coverage! Pathetic.
At least Krebs still actually talks about security topics so I guess I'll be going to his blog instead.

Linux woes
KDE wayland bug where left click is stuck down in softeare regardless of what you do. Thankfully touch works, but I'd appreciate being able to use a pointer device without a reboot. What kind of weird input plumbing could even cause this? Things made sense in X11, I just don't get it anymore.
To be clear. This is super rare and I have yet to intentionally replicate it. So it isn't really actionable right now.
People genuinely care about their image unless they are being critiqued by a war reenactor larper weirdo in a costume from last century. Then they don't. Pro tip. Also lose the damn vests nobody listens to anybody in a vest without resenting it.
