a little kid walked up to me seemingly out of nowhere while i was taking pictures of an isopod on the ground today. basically i was just standing there on the trail pointing my long lens at the ground which probably looked pretty funny. they asked me what i was doing. i told them i was looking at bugs! they didnt seem impressed. then i pointed out a nice butterfly that landed on a tree. still not impressed. then mom and sibling walked up and asked what i was doing so i explained again lol. also did not seem too impressed but as they were walking away i heard mom explaining to them again “yeah hes just taking pictures of any cool bugs he sees”

Update for today: she’s home and has eaten and drank, they gave her an anti-nausea med, so she’s managed to keep it down. The emergency vets couldn’t tell us what the problem was, other than that if she’s managing to keep food down with the anti-nausea med then it means there probably isn’t something pressing on her stomach. We have to take her back to the original vet tomorrow evening.
