(well the artkid did; while I wasn't looking she developed not only the skill but the poise, the confidence and the banter of a hairdresser, by regularly bleaching, dying and styling her own hair and that of her sibling; she said she actually would like to work with that as a support for her art career, only, you know, one of the jobs that are actually useful and therefore doesn't pay well...)

anyway I doubt I'll be putting it up often—styling it up means having to remove the hairspray later, which means shampoo, which means losing my pink too quickly—but I'll probably style it like this, binding behind the back so I can show off both side crops, or maybe I'll finally succeed in learning to do a Dutch braid on our own hair.
