Stanford is prosecuting 11 pro-Palestine protesters on felony vandalism charges & demanding $300K+ in restitution. Consider signing this petition to drop the charges: actionnetwork.org/forms/suppor

Unsurprising although disgusting to see my alma mater on the wrong side of genocide.

Watch them use the activism of the students whose lives they’re trying to destroy in some orientation story in a few decades.

Drives me crazy that the pharmacy automated system calls and texts at the same time. Just denying me usage of my phone for 15 seconds or so.

Today though, it happened while a timer was going off too, blocking my ability to stop the alarm. Straight up torture.

@davidgerard give people a heads-up about the tab-away / app-switch away site javascript gimmick which can break horribly on mobile.

fashtech is not just *anything* written and promoted by fascists. it has particular technical smells to it.

this post goes in detail through everything that Omarchy fucks up through incompetence and arrogance. it's a perfect worked example.

@kawaiipunk I have never had a linux phone, but I've used waydroid for this on a touchscreen laptop. You have to upgrade the android rom which underpins the compatibility layer, and you have the option to start the Android launcher/Shell rather than making application shortcuts in Linux for the Android apps you install. If anything on a phone it would work even better, since there is no architecture difference. Waydroid lets you download lineageOS nightly which I'd suggest, and you can also specify whether you want/need Gapps.

Let's go shopposting! I mean shitlifting! Fuck... I mean...

dear girls I have a website question. HTML/CSS

hey so I'm trying to align two sections of a <p> tag to the left and the right at the same time - I saw something about using flexbox to do justify-content: space-between on two spans inside a <p> tag to achieve this, but this doesn't seem to work for me. is this something to do with flexbox? is there a nicer way to do this than using float right and left? thank you ily xoxo 💜

I sneezed really hard and I think all my joints got crunched at once holy shit that was awful :neofox_googly_woozy:

America in its finest hour will at most say "the old war criminals were better" and that's why it must die.

@gedankenstuecke and apparently somebody thinks it is important enough for a context-menu key assignment. Imagine if actual features got that kind of treatment.

God, can someone please finally take #Firefox out of the hands of #Mozilla and their damn "AI" bros?

When they started adding all of this nonsense I went into my about:config to explicitly set "browser.ml.enable" to "false", but apparently even doesn't save you, as the new "features" will just not give a damn. 🫠

Lewis Carroll's The Walrus and the Carpenter accurately portays how much walruses love to eat bivalves. But walruses mostly hunt in deeper waters than where oysters live, pulling their tongue into their mouth like a piston to suck clams out of the shell. One study found >80% of their stomach contents were Mya truncata, the blunt gaper clam! #clamFacts
