With my insurance probably going to get yanked from me, whenever the fuck thats gonna happen, I'm gonna have to fully kick it back into survival mode :)

I can't work due to a lot of chronic physical pain, and going through the process to get told that i'm "actually disabled" isn't fucking worth it, lol

I hate having to fucking constantly bare myself to get sympathy and help.

The links are below, you can help me or boost to folks who can.

Anything i get from now until i get back home in 2-3 weeks will go towards next months bullshit.

I'm tired and i'm fucking tired of this fuckshit country

Ocean acidification is a process resulting from carbon dioxide emissions. CO2 dissolves as carbonic acid, which reduces the pH of the water. Much like Tums dissolves in the stomach, the shells of calcifying organisms can dissolve in more acidic water. Shell growth of some clams are seriously impacted by acidification, while others seem to be unaffected! Different species vary in how exposed their site of shell formation is to seawater. Larval bivalves are usually the most heavily impacted. They're small, with little ability to "buffer" their shell-forming fluid from swings in pH, and are putting relatively high levels of energy into growing shell. Larval oysters grown at pH 8 grow normally, while their siblings at pH 7.49 are stunted with patches of active dissolution. #clamFacts

My entire family has covid now. Wear a mask, avoid unnecessary public exposure, and if you can, try to stock up on sick food in case you get it too.

i've told this story before but can't find the post: when i was in college, the Republican student group put up "defund planned parenthood" posters. someone tore them all down and replaced some with a statement claiming the action as a defense of reproductive justice and bodily autonomy. the republicans threw a tantrum about being "silenced." the administration promised to investigate it as vandalism. every left org on campus, including many so-called anarchists, made statements distancing themselves from this "violent" act and calling for civility. nearly everyone i talked to said the anonymous poster-remover "went too far." and that was moment i realized no one is coming to save us but ourselves

German antisemitism

@ranja Germans love using Jews as human shields for their racism and jailing them if they don't like it.

STATEMENTS DREAMED UP BY THE UTTERLY DERANGED

THEY HAVE PLAYED US FOR ABSOLUTE FOOLS

a little kid walked up to me seemingly out of nowhere while i was taking pictures of an isopod on the ground today. basically i was just standing there on the trail pointing my long lens at the ground which probably looked pretty funny. they asked me what i was doing. i told them i was looking at bugs! they didnt seem impressed. then i pointed out a nice butterfly that landed on a tree. still not impressed. then mom and sibling walked up and asked what i was doing so i explained again lol. also did not seem too impressed but as they were walking away i heard mom explaining to them again “yeah hes just taking pictures of any cool bugs he sees”
