if you think about it 2fa OTP is just a fancy keysmash

I just realized that I haven't graced the fediverse yet with knowledge of the amazingly cursed software that is pMusic: a music player from the Puppy Linux project that is built entirely in Bash(!), yet has a GUI with fully-featured playlist management and advanced features like discography management and automatic YouTube searching and streaming!

🎂 Happy 3 Years! 🎂

@thufie I wish that bitwarden supported syncing bookmarks, since I have a selfhosted instance of that already for my passwords. I've been wanting a better way to sync my bookmarks for a while, maybe I'll try setting up xbrowsersync.

@thufie Yeah, OMV might make more sense for something with only 4GB of RAM. I run nextcloud in an LXC container, but docker would probably be simpler to set up.

@thufie I like Proxmox. It has a good webui for managing VMs and containers. It doesn't have a built in UI for NAS things though. I have a ZFS array that I access using NFS or samba. Some people run truenas in a VM on top of proxmox.

if this goes wrong the last pixie.town post should be

:gnomed:

forget "day" and "night" themes, every site should have a dark theme and a light pink theme

@f0x The light theme on my website has a purple background.

@thufie I've been using emacs org mode for some pages on my site, and it displays well in text only browsers. I have a separate file for the header, footer, and sidebar, and nginx stitches them together. I may convert that over so that everything is generated using org mode eventually.

@thufie I had issues with mine too, but I assumed it was a driver issue, maybe it is hardware. You could try swapping the board in the lower right with the SD card slot, USB port, and audio jacks.

They're called "Meta" because their business is selling your metadata.

All browser prompts need a "Lie" function in addition to Allow and Block.

<Website> wants to:
* Know your location
* Use your camera
[ Allow ] [ Block ] [ Lie ]
