Being LGBTQIA does not indemnify you against racism, ableism, patriarchy, imperialism, sexism, or any of the host of other bigotries woven into the fabric of majoritarian Euro-tradition/US culture.

It is not anti queer to say that queer people (white queer people in particular) can have harmful politics. You have to pick whether you want queer friendly white supremacy or actual liberation.

And if it’s the latter you simply have to stop being shitty.

You don’t need to appropriate the word “tribe” to talk about creating a sense of belonging.

You have “found family”, “affinity spaces”, and a whole lot of other terminology that don’t require erasing global indigeneities through shallow trendiness.

White queers once again, begging you to clear the low low bar of simply not doing bigotry as you self advocate.

Knock it off.

They said "Live with the virus" because "Die for Capitalism" performed poorly on the focus group.

GitHub is very much lacking a tool to find PRs that touch the same files as yours. This becomes very problematic when you have over a thousand of them, like we do in #GodotEngine.

While we're waiting for GitHub to recognize this issue, I've made a custom tool for Godot maintainers and contributors :)

For a moment it's on my account, but we should move it under the org soon enough.

I really love mastodon's private account notes feature, since (among other uses) it lets me keep track of why I blocked or perma-muted someone. This helps me reassess if someone should remain blocked later on once enough time has passed.

As generative algorithms put content farms on steroids and make search results even lower quality than they already are:

There's nothing more powerful and informative than finding community.

I've always sourced a lot of information directly from people, and that's becoming extra important as the web fills up with garbage content.

So, uh, seriously: thank you all for being a part of my life. Y'all make good living possible 💖

This is the fourth time this week that I'm having to evict (the same???) spiderfriend from my dishwasher

It would be nice if the vast majority of discourse around FOSS funding didn't revolve around "we should encourage people to start more for-profit companies around open-core models" while completely ignoring the commons aspect
