@joepie91 I remember seeing one where they sent an e-mail "we are pausing your subscription fees until the next time you use our service" when you didn't use it for the whole month. If nothing else, this should be a standard.
@joepie91 Save a prepaid VISA/MC gift card that you've depleted to $0. Use that when signing up for things. They'll have some problems when they try to "renew" and charge you later. ;)
@ScottTheGeek Aside from that not really being a thing here, this is also something where the responsibility lies with sellers to not be predatory
@joepie91 I've run into so many of those lately and it's awful. I try to remember to use a privacy.com disposable credit card to sign up for them but I tend to forget that too.
