It would be nice if the vast majority of discourse around FOSS funding didn't revolve around "we should encourage people to start more for-profit companies around open-core models" while completely ignoring the commons aspect
@joepie91 IMO open core is so awful. There are more open core projects that are useless than not exactly because their business model is to make you want to pay for it by taking away the essential features.
(And I think you can guess which demographic is particularly liable to do this)
