published a patch to autodiscover-server-configuration + synapse-media-proxy to handle SSL failures on the WellKnown request, so it properly does the other fallback steps

@schratze it's kind of trying to be the foss google services stuff, with cloud filestorage, document editing, calendars and a whole lotta other things. Most people selfhost it, but there's also some service providers giving free access or subscriptions
