NOW IS THE YEAR OF BUTTPLUGS ON LINUX ON THE DESKTOP ON THE CONSOLE

(Stock Linux intiface central running on the steam deck w/ working Bluetooth toy control)

@bun @Dee i appreciate that i read this in the blissom announcement voice

@f0x i say "seems to be" because my standards and judgement are way ahead of my writing skills currently

@f0x the only times i've actually written stuff is when i wasn't paying attention at all the meta stuff and how it'd be perceived. got some feels from something and built on them.

even if you want your writing to be more controlled sloppy bad art seems to be a precursor. embrace it.

<CW-attached boost; replying to orig post> fedi meta, on bigots; somewhat calm discussion

there's honestly such a big back-catalogue of good extremely-well-rated games that i'm just picking them based on "do they run on my machine quickly"

Job search, boost please!

It's the beginning of 2023 and I'm absolutely determined to get a job. Please help me with this however you can! I'm doing what I can on my end, but recommendations/referrals do help a lot and I'm really trying to make a big push to snag *something* since we really need it over here. (found family of four in a two bedroom apartment) :aliceweh:

- Comp sci degree
- 1.5 years as a software test engineer
- Python and NodeJS are my relevant languages, but I'm a fast learner and know a few others as well
- Same field, web dev, or sysadmin stuff is right up my alley
- Looking for remote, but can commute (Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, USA)
- I'm a trans woman, so clear acceptance/queer coworkers are a huge plus

Entry level would be best, I don't have enough work experience for most places to look at me mid-level. DM for a resume or any questions, take a look at my site for some examples of things I do!
