@f0x Nice. I've been thinking about using them for offsite backups. One of my friends wants to try backup peering with me using borgbackup too. I helped him set up a 20TB ZFS array recently.

ok after that post about the social consequences of infinite scrolling, here's another plea

dear programmers/web designers

just make fucking pages. please. i'm begging you. do it so i can find my goddamn place. give me a fuckin landmark here.

also have mercy on people who might be running it on older hardware and maybe don't want to deal with their computer groaning under the weight of a fuckshit mountain of loaded posts

nsfw, ebay, wtf

@EeveeEuphoria I need a model with a fully functioning foreskin.

meta question about CNs

@juno That would be useful.

having to install .NET and other shit through Proton/Wine always makes me realize how good us linux users have it with normal package management

@f0x I've been using mine for a couple days. There are still a few hardware issues they need to work out. When the battery goes below 60%, your system will lock up if you have an NVME drive installed. Someone is working on designing a PCB to fix that.
There are also some rollover issues with the keyboard, you can't press control shift tab and some other combinations. There is also some buzzing from some components on the board if your brightness is below around 70%.
Mainline kernel support is getting better. Manjaro has the best hardware support right now, the GPU performance is a lot better than the stock OS, although suspend doesn't work. Swaywm is working pretty well on it.

@ThisIsLeeloo Almost all of the other intactivists I've talked with also oppose forced sex reassignment of intersex children. I have seen the alt-right using some intactivist talking points, we try to distance ourselves from them. We don't allow antisemitism or Islamophobia in any of the bodily autonomy groups I am a part of. I have multiple Jewish friends who are against circumcision without consent, one who is restoring his foreskin and left his son intact. There are a few ex-Muslims in a foreskin restoration group I'm a part of.
I think that all children deserve autonomy over their own body, whether they are male, female, or intersex.

Guess what just arrived in the mailbox?

@brown121407 Thanks. The CST uses a blank pool ball by default, so I got an emacs cue ball printed to replace it with. I also harvested switches from a cherry switch tester to use as pinky buttons for back and forward.

@brown121407 Nice. I got mine a couple days ago.

shitpost (genital, bodily harm, body horror)

@byttyrs ouch

one thing american hip-hop really lacks when compared to UK hip-hop is all the foreskin references

RE: foreskin restoration

@Resni Full flaccid coverage was my initial goal, which is why I stopped then. I wonder how much more progress I could have made if I had continued then.
Sometimes progress can seem slow, but if you keep tugging consistently you will get there eventually. I know someone who started restoring in his 60s, it turned out great for him.

RE: foreskin restoration

@Resni Yeah, I haven't talked with anyone who started quite as early as I did, but someone I talked with who started when he was 14 had similar results. Progress has been a lot slower recently. Part of that is because I'm a grower, so erect coverage is a lot harder to get than flaccid coverage was.

RE: foreskin restoration

@Resni I started restoring very young, which may have helped. I was 11 when I started, right after I found out what circumcision was online. Before that I thought that the pain and other issues I was having were normal.
I was also very consistent with my tugging. I used cross taping, and I wore it almost 24/7. I would reapply it every morning, afternoon, and night. I was 13 when I got full flaccid coverage, then I took a break for around 5 years. I'm 22 now, and I'm working on erect coverage using other methods.
