RE: irl dick photo, foreskin restoration

@Resni That looks great! I started out cut very tight too. My skin used to be so tight that it would sometimes tear and bleed when I was erect.
How long have you been restoring? It took me around two years to get full flaccid coverage.

Chilean protesters are using lasers to bring down drones. Facial recognition cameras, drones and robots in general will make it hard for humans to protest in future.

@dragon @hyperlink It has been down for a week now. I didn't use it for porn, I had my foreskin restoration alt on it.

there's a difference between a power strip and a surge protector, in that the latter protects against surges and shorts, and the former can look a lot like a toasted marshmallow

@lesbianhacker Yeah, accessibility is important.
Linux does do accessibility better than other OSs in some situations already. At work, I sometimes help a retired programmer who is blind and deaf. He uses a 40 character mechanical braille display, and his main computer runs Debian. He uses BRLTTY to display his console, and he didn't have us install Xorg or any gui on his system. He helped write one of the main braille libraries that most software that interfaces with braille uses, free and nonfree.
Designing software and websites with good keyboard controls goes a long way towards helping with accessibility.

@tindall@cybre.space I'm helping a friend at work set up a proxmox server like the one I've been using for a while, with a zfs SSD mirror for the boot drive and a large z2 array for data. You can lower the ram usage by tweaking some settings if you need to, but zfs does like having a lot of ram to work with.

Doom and MineTest are both incredibly exciting in terms of being able to quickly create radically different experiences out of mods. 😊 This format for creating FOSS games in general seems really good, to me. 🙂🎮

its called x86 because you take a normal processor and multiply the amount of instructions it has by 86

It'd be fun if a monitor maker would put a "degauss" option in one of their LCD monitor menus, causing it to make a fake image and color worble effect of a CRT degauss.

Won't actually do anything, just be there as a nerdy in-joke.

@tindall@cybre.space nice! I'm still waiting for mine.

all internet communities are fundamentally temporary. even if they stay up, there's such turnover that i dont rly expect anywhere to stay similar over the course of a year or two

people leave. people change. communities fall apart. we're all nomads on an endless digital plain.

Imagine if the avatar came back but he was like old and shitty
