I know I've tooted basically this before, but it's increasing tempting to start a wellness non-scam.
Exactly the style of a wellness/woo scam, but it's fully upfront about being pseudo-science the whole time.
✅ Check out your eye with a microscope, give you a comprehensive report on why each of the colours and patterns is extremely fucking cool
✅ Foot massage where I also tell you that I really hope other parts of your body are feeling better too
✅ Steam. It's just nice.
✅ Clearly labelled sugar pills
✅ Totally normal herbs, just munch whichever takes your fancy or put them on your body. They smell really nice.
✅ Series of tactile, aesthetically pleasing substances including pink salt, charcoal, green clay. Be in their presence, put them on your face, I don't care, they won't do anything other than be fun either way, so you do you.
The reason Texas is part of the USA is that Mexico made slavery illegal.
Remember the Alamo? A lot of white people don't know is that what the "brave" people in the Alamo were fighting for was slavery.
That's also why it took two years after the civil war ended for enforcement of anti-slavery in Texas. (it wasn't because of slow communication, as is told in revisionist histories, it was because white people willfully defied the law).
Freedom is always worth fighting for.
the white feedback loop of ~only giving (mutual aid) to someone you know~ yet never making friends with Black folks because you refuse to put any effort into working on your racism or you just couldnt give a damn to make friends with a Black person ... congrats, you're reinforcing Jim Crow. that's segregation, that's redlining. beyond chattel slavery, this systemic disconnect of cash flow is a big motivation behind the concept of reparations.
all minus 2 Indigenous folks on my mutual aid request list are Black and damn near everyone has been struggling to get their needs met these past few months. white people on here could stand to give a damn. because i watch your white friends' goals get met over and over and quicker than these folks. did you all decide these people just don't deserve help anymore because they keep needing help? (the following sentence contains sarcasm) it's almost as if they're stuck in a shit situation because of a systemic problem!
juneteenth is this week. list link here: https://weirder.earth/@thief/114695794127681870
(Also, any project where the answer is "there are none" fails this test, because that tells me that people don't accurately *recognize* conflict and therefore have not learned how to deal with it in a healthy way)

fash furs, 2gryph
i am not even angry or sad at this point. i am just looking down on so many furries for trying so hard to please others instead of being themselves. "no we are not perverts, we are not interested in sex, we are not into pride, we are not into drama, we are not political, we don't wanna be animals, please please please please don't hate us"
just losers. most furries are losers and that's the truth. they're like footballs being kicked around by corpo liberals and rightwing bigots
fash furs, 2gryph
i am genuinely burnt out and sick of furry spaces because they try so hard to pander to bigots and normies and indulge in corpo consumerism that furry culture becomes just a costume
it's like the whole thing with "clean goths" and "right-wing punks"
kinda wanna echo Steve Ignorant of Crass and just say that furry is dead. because it kinda is.
Little NASA comparison from the first stage of the Artemis test.
- Only one test
- Successful launch and orbit
- Established a lunar transfer trajectory (went to THE MOON)
- Deployed a full sized human-rated capsule
- It did a flyby of the moon
- It re-injected itself in a return trajectory
- The capsule returned to Earth
- Re-entered the atmosphere, landed safely.
A flawless, multi stage, full test in a perfectly executed mission by NASA.
But, government is inefficient, etc.

Sometimes horny on main (behind CW), very much into kink (bondage, freeuse, CNC, and other stuff), and believe it or not, very much a submissive bottom :p

Strong views about abolishing oppression, hierarchy, agency, and self-governance - but I also trust people by default and give them room to grow, unless they give me reason not to. That all also applies to technology and how it's built.
