My heartfelt thanks to all of you who use AltText to add descriptions to your pics and media. As someone who used to be able to see but has been blind for over 30 years now, it allows me to see the pic in my mind and is greatly appreciated and allows me to enjoy them.
Another heartfelt thanks to those who use #CamelCase in their hashtags. This makes it so much easier to understand with a screen reader and for those who read print as well! ❤️

Nog voor het goed en wel tot volle wasdom is gekomen, lijkt het neurodiversiteitsdenken al volop te worden toegeëigend door een neoliberaal discours van zelfverwezenlijking, productiviteit en winst. Deze selectieve lezing van neurodiversiteit roept meer frustratie op dan ze wegneemt. Wat betekent deze toe-eigening voor mensen met talenten die de groeidrang van de mainstreameconomie niet kant-en-klaar dienen? Welk emanciperend potentieel blijft er over voor neurodivergente mensen die geen superpower bezitten, maar net zulke doorsnee professionele vaardigheden hebben als de rest van de samenleving? Yes, this is spinning up a VM, running a Docker host with the esp-idf Docker image inside of it, then extracting the relevant part of the filesystem from it, into the target directory, and patching the binaries so that they work on NixOS

there is a supermarket i am ordering my groceries from since i am located in a very unwalkable part of the city, and since the summer began, they have started this shitty marketing campaign where they put a free can of schweppes ginger ale tonic in your bag for free everytime you order anything and I HATE IT SO MUCHHH
every single fucking time i order a new round of food every two weeks i look in the bag with all the goods, unpack them, and then i see it.
this dreaded copper metal can of ginger ale.
i presume they are doing this because those cans sell badly and they have to find a way to get rid of them.
i tried finding a way to cancel it - there is no. i tried drinking them and i don't like the taste. i am desperate. frustration is mounting
