@kendraserra Depending on the exact needs, TiddlyWiki *may* be an option: https://tiddlywiki.com/
It's built for a highly specific usecase (personal notes wiki and not much else, basically), but in the absolute simplest mode it can run as a wholly self-contained HTML file that's just stored on your PC.
@f0x What I'm reading is that honeypots would be an effective defense against scrapers
@vitak One thing that really stood out to me was the "I have control over the information I share online" item. Am I reading correctly that Dutch respondents hold this belief more strongly than American respondents? But how would that mesh with the higher degree of fatalism among Dutch respondents?
(Very interesting research, by the way!)
I'm excited to share this article (open access!) comparing privacy attitudes in the US and Netherlands using factorial vignettes. This was one of my favorite projects (and teams) to work on over the last decade, and this paper represents the last study in the 3+ year project. https://ijoc.org/index.php/ijoc/article/view/19391
@ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt Quick search yields https://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/focal/man1/findimagedupes.1p.html
@ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt I don't know of an off-the-shelf tool for video, but if you have the disk space and CPU to spare, ffmpeg *can* just extract every Nth frame from a video (there's a stackoverflow answer for it ~somewhere~) and then you could use an off-the-shelf image comparison tool against that?
Bank of America set on fire in Portland
"Last night I broke into a Bank of America in Portland, Oregon and started a large fire. According to news reports, the fire grew quickly and took firefighters more than an hour to extinguish.
I attack for revenge against capital for the hell it creates, to break the illusion of police control that usually protects it, and just because I can.
Bank of America funds the Atlanta Police Foundation and a thousand other projects of control. Earlier that day, the six friends in Atlanta charged with “domestic terrorism” were released from jail. May this fire bring them some warmth in winter.
Long live anarchy!"

I really hate this ageist ass notion that young people always want change and hate the system, but it's only because they're "naïve" and they will "grow up" when they will age. whoever said that needs to be decked because they is not only ageist, they is also upholding the status quo
“Nice is not the same as kind.
Nice is not the same as ethical.
Nice is not the same as moral.
The older I get, the less interested I am in “nice.”
Nice is the gift wrap; it says nothing about what’s inside.”

This is also related to the myth that "racism will die out" or "homophobia will die out" as older people die.
No, bigotry and fascistic attitudes *don't* just die out, they must be actively fought and defeated on an ongoing basis.
Because sometimes we make the mistake of thinking "Oh, the youth must not be bigoted like their forebears" but guess what.
If that were true we wouldn't have had the tiki torches or the terf explosion.
Allies and enemies in every generation.

@shine @whatanerd Hmm, I've not seen that one anywhere yet! I've tried the store-brand vegan mozzarella from Albert Heijn in a pasta dish, and it worked okay enough, but the taste was rather weak. Didn't try baking it though!
It probably helps that Nurishh is a brand from an actual cheese manufacturer, so they at least have people who understand how it's supposed to taste 🙃
