putting in an official request for librepunk downtime every time I have a fellowship app due from now on, this was stellar
i've always used the multi-column layout, but it just strikes me as very overwhelming rn, comparing it to other places
i wonder if there's a better way to marry the multi and single column layouts of mastodon, hmm
Current web-based instance-independent implementations are Pinafore and Brutaldon, but they both focus on "minimalism" too much for my taste. I have no idea if I can provide better UX, but I'm going to try :)
Context: I'm starting on a new fediverse webclient, FediFox. It's starting point is having a more full-fledged client that's independent of server implementations (but mostly geared towards #GoToSocial).

uh oh thought it was time for another dose but im 1hr early
thing is though, especially on mobile as a PWA, the mastodon interface just works pretty well for the most part
thinking back on how i (very briefly) was a books on the train reader
need to do more design thinking though, so it doesn't just turn into mastodon with a greyer colorscheme
although there's still infinite things to improve on Skulk, I think I might actually get started on fedifox today
