Just deployed pages alpha v0.0.3-patch3!

It runs on pixie.homes, which has like 0 info on it yet oops, but you can already access the README for it's own repo through either:

homes.pixie.town (CNAME custom domain) or
main.pixie-pages.f0x.pixie.hom (automatic subdomain)

It's all still very early days but stuff kinda seems to work so that's neat!

all the source code can be found in git.pixie.town/f0x/pixie-pages

i guess it's flu or something, i'm having the worst cold in ages...

I gotta say, from dogfooding the homes.pixie.town site (it's literally just loading the README.md from the software's own repo), editing, commit, push, then deployment happening automatically is really nice :D

fuckin, more bugfixes. sometimes i start to wonder if i can even program at all (or if it's bedtime)

if you're the first person to load a specific site it might take a while, ACME certificate requests are slow (not much to do about that). After that it's rather speedy though!

even with a (supposedly) backend-agnostics database library, dealing with sqlite locally and postgres in prod still gives issues...

ok at least it wasn't an important rate-limit, messed up the renewal logic so it kept requesting a cert for the same domain (but that limit is separate from all the other ones)

huh letsencrypt's ACME is a lot slower in production than a local Pebble server, who could've thunk it

there were only 17 on the shelf and it's 1+1 free so only grabbed 16 :\

@pericynthion are the type coercion rules actually a problem in practice outside of "haha look at what this funny javascript expression evaluates to"

going to grab 1010104194810 energy drinks because they're 50% off, anyone want anything?
