it's such a tiny detail, but the extra interactivity is great imo

refactoring: like following the hansel and gretel breadcrumb trail, but they where drunk on the way there and the breadcrumbs are caltrops

work stuff

earlier today I looked at my tracked hours for this refactor branch and thought i was mostly finished in around half the estimated hours

and then right after realized how much there's still to do

fairly happy with the hooks + component setup I wrote for form fields in GoToSocial, especially that they're proven to be extensible to the more complex usecases too. Probably something I should abstract into its own published package at some point, but aaa work

@researchfairy naming things is hard.. but that's no excuse to appropriate something instead

Apache can change its name

So can Ubuntu tbh

The GNU photoshop too, but for different reasons

FOSS names are kind of shit huh

like half of the GoToSocial Settings is just simple form structures that edit and send back a json response

and then there's huge complexity in stuff like bulk import/export with plaintext and json support, and the custom emoji stealing interface

@neurovagrant Brave is ran by the shithead that got ousted from Firefox over his opposition to same-sex marriage..

Brave also has a history of shady advertisement and analytics injection, and they'll no doubt pull shit like that again in the future en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_(w

@dumpsterqueer recently came across github.com/superseriousbusines again which i have some ideas for (re-using auth stored for the settings interface), and we could do the webviews for submitted reports that way too (or jam them in a user-section of the settings for now)

making good progress on the report client API:

https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial/compare/report_client_api?expand=1

Soon (tm) you'll be able to create reports about other accounts, and view reports you've created. The latter is apparently not something that mastodon does, so it likely won't have any client support yet, but oh well!

@rex agreed

also `</hobby>` because you forgot to close your tags
