there is nothing capitalist about gotosocial. we are going to explicity codify zero support of capitalism into our CoC. if you heed our warnings and run this software, you will... (spoiler alert) get to use alpha software! that is that. if you choose to contribute bug reports then you will be helping to improve said software. and through a very indirect line of reasoning be helping to support the developers putting their time into this open, freely available project.

it's kinda bizarre I can render full pages with content faster than Mastodon can serve a useless static page that delegates everything to the client
