@dumpsterqueer what might actually be a good workaround is to just apply the rotation data to a new image. Heavier though because you have to do actual image processing
@pixouls if you need to spend some money on digikey, Chipquik SMD291NL-ND (flux) and TS391SNL-ND (lead free solder paste) are super nice

So in NL, leftist/climate/social/etc. activists consistently get beaten up by police and arrested overnight to break up protests, with zero recourse or consequences
Meanwhile a bunch of nazi-adjacent farmers in tractors have been blocking highways all day today, endangering drivers, and issuing explicit threats of violence to politicians, and the police are "in talks with them" and "do not have the capacity to break it up"
@n0toose@chaos.social @schratze you'll be much better off reimplementing from scratch, but looking at how Telegram behaves can still be a valuable resource. It's basically what I got started on with Neo, my Matrix client project, but thats been dormant for years now
@schratze yeah they got the ux down quite well... client code is an absolute mess though so even though they're open source, adapting them to better platforms would be hell
