So in NL, leftist/climate/social/etc. activists consistently get beaten up by police and arrested overnight to break up protests, with zero recourse or consequences
Meanwhile a bunch of nazi-adjacent farmers in tractors have been blocking highways all day today, endangering drivers, and issuing explicit threats of violence to politicians, and the police are "in talks with them" and "do not have the capacity to break it up"

Another day of nazi farmer highway blockades. An ambulance responding to a medical emergency got blocked. Farmers are now setting fire to shit. Cattle shit was sprayed over roads and in front of buildings. One farmer cut down 100 very old trees in an irrecoverable manner because ????.
Again, cops are standing on the side watching, and doing nothing.

Oh yeah and I almost forgot, an elected representative of the alt-right party openly called for "destroying the entire system so that we can take power".

Update: State of emergency declared in Apeldoorn, as farmers have put out a call on social media to storm the police station and jailbreak arrested farmers (yes, the cops did eventually arrest *some* people!)

Apparently cops have now graduated directly to "shooting at tractors" - no people seem to have been hit, clops claim they were "warning shots", video clearly shows otherwise

In more amusing news, yesterday a bunch of tractors blocked a supermarket's distribution center, and in response the supermarket blocked the tractors with a truck

@StroomAfwaarts @joepie91 Actually, Code Rood / Shell Must Fall did that in May 2021. Renting a truck with a wrecking ball (see photo) when protesting at the Shell HQ in The Hague. The police didn't do anything, so I think you are on to something. 😉
