this close to skipping class again and working on my raspberry pi kvm instead

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

this was very useful, 6 responses instead of the minimum required 3 :)

very skewed towards privacy and security for sure, but that's good because I wouldn't want to design any other product anyways..

not me crowdsourcing my uni project interviews the night before I have to show those anonymized results in the morning lol, thanks y'all :))

:boost_requested: Survey/Interview questions about Smart Home Devices

Have to get a couple responses to these for uni assignments, but I'm also genuinely curious

- What kind of smart home devices (electronic stuff that communicates with eachother/apps etc) do you have?

- What kind of existing devices would you like to have?

- What kind of features would you like a hypothetical smart device to bring you?

- Do you have concerns with smart devices?

i would record something but probably nobody would watch, and if you did you'd get immense seasickness from all the flicking and zooming lmao

literally impossible to focus and/or bring up motivation for stuff

@eclectic sure, but if I type google.com it should turn that into a link too, instead of having to http(s) it yourself before it gets recognized

why can't mastodon just linkify shit like any other platform

ph

i'm having the worst fucking cold ever, just constantly snotty (covid selftests negative tho)

aaa my IR panel is on why is it still so fuckin cold

food

got a poke bowl, made my fresh oat capuccino, let's get some stuff done?

@aral their new SSH agent integration did look cool, but I'm quite happy with a selfhosted Vaultwarden (with Bitwarden clients/apps)

@dumpsterqueer@ondergrond.org add some synapse workers too, that's loooots of fun to figure out...

ohh this is cool, the framework's screen aspect ratio (3:2) is the same as my DSLR, so I can use my pictures as wallpapers without cropping
