i gave up, reset branch to upstream and will probably just reimplement my features....

@thufie i'm not sure that's even a concern here? it's just a ton of work to keep anything in sync with upstream, legal or not
@thufie the more modular a codebase is the easier merges become, because you can affect granular single-function parts
@thufie yeah idk if there's even a solution
maintaining forks of these gigantic codebases is near impossible...
yeah i do things sometimes and some of those are relevant skills to your project give me money k thanks
