Hey federated verse I'm looking for cloud computing/vps provider recommendations.

Criteria:

* ethical (no megacorps).
* api for creating/destroying resources
* green energy/carbon neutral
* preferably within Europe for gdpr compliance

Boosts welcome! Thanks!

@quinn it's a pain and I regret it lol, I moved most of my mail that matters to a paid account at soverin.net

@haskal ah yeah, I guess it depends on the person how fast/if you can get used to that (I had the same when I started flying quadcopters and that doesn't even do headtracking)

@haskal oh i've actually heard people be very positive about Population One, kinda fortnite/battle royale fps in VR

@haskal hmm I quite liked SUPER HOT, and Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! was pretty fun at the hackerspace, where the other players join on their phones

but yeah not enough for me to get VR personally

timelapsing is really cool but the shutter is super loud lol

~168GB of steam games I barely play, 154GB of movies I still have to watch (where 76GB is one season of a series lol, why is it so big). 85GB for windows vm, 54GB of source files for packages (most of it kicad related)

and then my system froze... im suspecting btrfs weirdness

huh, my camera sd card actually does 80MB/s sustained

I should probably really install MagicLantern, so I can do actual timelapses (and for 5 million other features)

It’s a cursed breakfast time in the cybercafé, and you are a sleepy persian cat.

@haskal @elise @AgathaSorceress@eldritch.cafe fwiw Matrix' decentralized identities will fix this Somewhere in the Future, by using hashes as actual ids then linking aliases to those
