re: convention covid doomsaying
@trysdyn yeah, this is unfortunately a prediction you could set your watch to
And it sucks
@Zwiebelprinz ooooh sadly I don't have any refs for the idea I've had just yet
@RetroWizzard That repair job is beautiful though
@toffy Might be a problem with shag but then again you've already got a problem by having shag
“This is the home page of the book 3D Math Primer for Graphics and Game Development.”
“You can now read the entire book for free!”
👀✨
@monsterblue it's not quite all the way there, but Sun Haven lets you be an animal-person and befriend a giant dragon
@badgertracks awww, she's adorable!
If you want to use it, as well, you can find a zip-file with all the used images and splash screen along with a short info txt in a zip-file here:

Libbie art done by Tyson Tan: tysontan.com
Splash screen is LibreOffice's original splash screen with Libbie tacked on.
More info on all that in the readme file. Tyson Tan's Libbieart is licenced under CC0 licence, but I have no clue about the original splash screen, so, just for personal use unless you know better. 😅
I said everything is better with a mascot, right? 😁
I learned that Tyson Tan, the artist that, among other things, did the KDE and Krita mascot, also designed a mascot, Libbie, for LibreOffice, but the mascot contest was cancelled because stuff wasn't "professional enough" or something. BUT all his art was available, thus, I took inspiration by this (outdated) project https://github.com/sdomi/libbieoffice and set my own Libbie Splash & Icons with his artwork.
Download and info in reply.
