@sailormavis@mastodon.art yeah, they got some serious issues they need to work out, they certainly had no right to lash out at you for asking a perfectly good question and respectfully stepping out

@sailormavis@mastodon.art that fucking sucks. What's gotten people so weirdly puritanical?

As long as you use content warnings and don't break the rules of the service you're using, you're fine in my book, and if the aspec person can say that, then the prudes can introspect on why they're being so self-flagellating.

Content warnings establish consent and they're wonderful

@gavi the wild hunt for a good cup of coffee

Mildly lewd, dergn

One downside to teaching your kobolds how to undo your bra is that at some point they'll remove and run off with it while you're still using it

One nice thing about becoming a dragon is that if I'm too stiff and sore to take my bra off, I can ask my kobolds to do it for me and I can reward them with soft squishy cuddles

@Jo gonna go out on a limb and guess NTSC/PAL discrepancies

@cobalt Chairface Chippendale! So it was you all along!

@cobalt Okay, but you do that and someone is inevitably going to increase the laser amplitude to carve their name into it

If you host a #GitLab instance, you should update it as soon as possible. There's a critical security update, including a fix for "Account Takeover via password reset without user interactions". Oopsie.

US folks can get all Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels in a humble bundle for $18, which is great. Except you gotta trudge through Adobe DRM to extract the actual books so you can load them on your device. Here's how I did it--mwl.io/archives/23343

Bundle at humblebundle.com/books/terry-p

[ETA: Note I said "US." HarperCollins does not have the rights to sell Pratchett's books outside the US. In the old days, authors licensed books to publishers based on who could print and sell them in each country. Those contracts are still in effect. That's how the big publishing business works.]

@maddy I'd like to think me the GOP would devour itself before it could possibly hope to unify to elect a female president, since the only force holding it together at this point is its bigotry

AI training at work

I *did* kind of send my coworkers off the deep end by quietly editing the AI base instruction set so that every technical answer provided would be compared to Star Wars

bot: “Like a Jedi’s lightsaber, a Personal Access Token—“
coworker: WHY is it DOING that

@heatherhorns Only by dint of experience; mine's a pro 4 so it's extremely user-unfriendly. Unfortunately, I don't think the screens are compatible, so that option's out in that case. Bugger :/ I'm sorry
