mh/ph--?

Dunno if it's depression or I'm sick but I've been asleep more than I've been awake and haven't had much appetite to speak of

but given how inseperable I've been with big maple, I'm suspecting the former

Yep. Air bubbles.

In its current setup, they all go to the pump too, since the radiator is too big for the upper fan slots

Time to improvise I guess

Ecological misinfo: please stop

@wicche Thank you for shining a glimmer of hope in a dark time. I hope others will come out of their grief realizing that the mass consumption needs to end and the execs and shareholders of countless industries still need to be taken to account, like, right now, while there's still time

Ecological misinfo: please stop

Hey everyone please stop sharing that plankton article, there’s no actual linked research and the org GOES’ website is only pointing out what most ecologists have already been warning about for ages, which is that we’ve got about 25 years left before we have a massive plankton problem. If this is something you didn’t know about already then I hate for this to be your intro to ocean acidification but FWIW current plankton populations are like, still alive

Going theory: air bubbles. Since it's an AIO I want to hold off on dealing with that though, unless it happens again in which case all bets are off

I fixed my computer! I still don't know what was wrong with it but the watercooling block is running again and the backup is definitely dead

ph- framed as silly

And now it's time for another episode of Good Idea, Bad Idea

Good Idea: going for a thirty minute hike

Bad Idea: going for a thirty minute hike... in flipflops

The End

@DarkOverord I can't wait to get my desktop back up and running hhh

computer troubles

Uuuugh, the watercooling block on my desktop seems to be shot after the move. Terribly dim so it's like there's not enough power going to it, even though the fan controls are set to PWM and it doesn't have a PWM pin.

Worse still, I dug out a backup unit and it seems to also be having similar issues, plus the thermal paste I've got seems like garbage, PLUS the only 120mm fan I've got is a silent chassis fan without enough oomf to blow the damn radiator's nose. I can barely keep the computer on for longer than a minute like this

Unrelated but I feel like the 3D remake of Yar's Revenge gets a bad rap. Sure it's kind of a mediocre rail shooter that completely turned the original game's lore (such as it is) on its head and inherited none of the gameplay, but also hot bug girl

@minervissa if it isn't purely shopped, I'd reckon it's glued on; there doesn't appear to be even the faintest sign of any drilling, puncturing, or pressure of the circuit board or memory chip
