My friend @porsupah - offline name Zoe - died last night in hospital, of the cancer that was diagnosed back at the end of 2022.

She was a lovely person as I’m sure many of you know - kind, generous, and always ready to help and support others. And very good at putting a cheerful face on things, even with those of us who knew her irl.

Their liaison on the care team made a huge difference to Zoe’s comfort and happiness: not just by arranging to fast-track her GRC application and bottom surgery, but also from the knowledge that there was a trans person involved so we didn’t have to worry about weirdness from cis doctors
