@Runner The world needs more loud angry welsh catgirls

“Cave Johnson here. I’m proud to announce that our plan to hire only female test subjects to prevent them from flirting with our female scientists has been a resounding failure.”

“Cave Johnson here. Friendly reminder that Aperture employees living prior to the legalization of gay marriage are invited to use our Aperture Science Temporal Matrimony Pod in order to travel to the future with your same-sex partner and get married there. Employees from the future who wish to return to a time before gay people being able to marry are also welcome to use the pod and we’ll make sure to send you to an era well before gay marriage. I’m thinking maybe Late Cretacesous.”

@Runner Soulsborne upgrade guy: don't listen to them, I'm your down-to-earth surrogate father figure with biceps the size of your head and I care about you, partly because you bring me new weapons and rocks to hammer into them

“A sysadmin’s rant about feed readers and crawlers”

Unfortunately tyhis, isn’t new. I remember reading near-identical blog posts over 15 years ago. Programmers think a library absolves them from learning HTTP. rachelbythebay.com/w/2022/03/0

I never realized it until now where I moved my laptop downstairs so I can spin down and disassemble my desktop setup, but my roommate's TV has like no bass

Much like Samus, I too cloak myself in the armor of my chosen family and try to bravely face a cruel world while taking strength from the memories of lost loved ones.

I read the most wonderful book this weekend!

LEGENDS & LATTES is the cosy and good-hearted story of an orc who gives up her adventuring to fulfill her dream of starting Thune's first coffee shop.

It's sweet and fun with a touch of romance but mostly a lot of friendship. It's very much a story of someone struggling to remake themself and succeeding through hard work, kindness, and the support of their friends and community.

I adored every second of it and wish it could have kept going forever!
