@rezzish Is that the jellycat bashful calf? I have one too!

My little micro moth babies fluttered all the way here in time for christmas!

@ben phpBB lets you post all the cats (and moths) you want

Periodic reminder that "Just google it" is dangerous advice. You're asking someone with professed ignorance of a topic to wade through a sea of adversarial SEO hacks and deliberate misinformation. This is how people fall for e.g. the propaganda from Autism Speaks.

Want to do: Castle Titania

Have to do: christmas cardmaking, figure painting, baking, and wrapping

Able to do: :blobcatghost:

@owl@beach.city I'm in this toot and I don't like it

very cursed idea / xmas / im not doing this

@DrSagan you had me at "lesbian fae"

@tehn this would honestly be really neat, especially in low-power computing or ASIC projects

demand for small-batch yarn is facilitating a resurgence of tiny mills which often use salvaged machinery. (the industry largely collapsed in the nineties due to globalization).

i've been contemplating the potential for a parallel in chip manufacturing: if there's sufficient interest in 8 bit to merit the design and local fabrication of something 6502-like, using salvaged semiconductor equipment.

(this would of course rely on being an ideological project since there's no competing financially)

@f0x .... HUH. I never thought about that. I guess if you don't have a good spout on your mixing bowls, though...

Seems like it'd be a pain to clean out though

when i was in high school, we pirated television cos the cable companies didn't understand the desire for on demand viewing. Netflix came along and made it so easy we stopped pirating for a time. Now, the online streaming ecosystem is so fractured and complex that i've now gone back to pirating stuff because its just so much easier than dealing with all that bullshit

@welshpixie we shall drop acorns on the heads of the unworthy and hide snails in their socks!
