professor layton as an eldritch being
imagine if you saw a well dressed man with a tall hat and the moment you start talking to him he says it reminds him of a puzzle.
reality starts to shift before you can stop him and its suddenly just you, him, and some kind of puzzle before you both in a strange void. He explains the puzzle, then asks you to solve it. Upon a recieving a satisfying answer, the puzzle vanishes. He congratulates you, shakes your hand, and you snap back to reality. He's gone. all thats left is a business card in the hand he shook. The name reads "Professor Layton".
