like linux supports a lot of peripherals but theres certain catagories of devices that are just completely ignored it seems
i can talk about how I've wasted almost an entire 24-48 hours combined of my life maybe more trying to get the fucking resistive touchscreen calibrated correctly on my toughbook, only to have basically no gestures and barebones mouse click actions with it
and its still not calibrated correctly and I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY
like I have half formed thoughts on Wayland and X11 and some thoughts on just the general experience of trying to use wine and proton on older hardware, to the complete disaster that is touchscreen support, etc.

hyperbowl! with new bug course
a plushie bug
a cup of water, with a funny straw
orchid additions like comfier blanket
desktop isopod

Orchid: dollgirl, art freak, talks to and about bugs, enjoyer of games, mostly shmups. mecha/planes are also an interest. stats and data fiend. tinkerer. She/Her, It/Its.
Salamander Rosegarden is The Maiden Of The Eternal Garden, a witch focused on plant based magic. Often pondering food recipies or admiring Orchid's weird behaviors.
Neither of them are human. They are very in lesbians with each other.
