I think it was actually a decent norm of online etiquette to expect people to not ask you questions of the form "what is X?" that they could solve with the top result of a single google search. opening a tab to run a search for some rando felt like doing chores for a husband.
except google doesn't work anymore and every search engine pushes AI on you, and now it's pretty reasonable to ask the most basic questions to human strangers instead
