Oil beetle! I’m really delighted to see these back: a few years ago we had *heaps*, then the last two years I’ve seen none at all: I was starting to worry the dry years might have wiped them out locally. (North Greece.) #insects#beetles
@lyncia very! That might mean he a she, but I’m not sure. Good to know if you ever come across them: some kinds secrete a defensive oil which can give skin reactions, standard advice is no touchy.
