It's been a really fascinating experience, watching every tech CEO that I've worked with (or for) over the last few months be reduced to an incoherent shill, incapable of talking about their company or mission without constantly singing the importance of "adopting AI to stay competitive."

It's really replaced "virtual property/NFTs/Crypto/Blockchain" etc as something you sprinkle onto a shareholder meeting to convince 65 year old hedgefund managers that barely touch computers you're making the Next Big Thing and deserve their money. It's a whole new tech bubble just waiting to burst, again, lol.

I just got an email saying that shitpost 28K words vampire novel I wrote in December of 2020 might get turned into an audiobook and I will pass away if this is how I peak. I literally spent 30 days of effort on it and it's the mostly popular thing I've made, and it was a shitpost

What started four years ago as a thread on Twitter when I started looking into NBNCo's Community Switch and Technology Choice programs has ended with my house receiving the Internet connection we were all promised all those years ago.

I want to thank and acknowledge everyone who replied and offered advice, tips and insights. I want to thank the fabulous people at Aussie Broadband who put up with my persistence and doggedness.
