Great news coming from Germany: today, the Bundestag adopted the gender self-determination law, which will allow trans people to change their gender on their official papers with a simple declaration at the civil registry. Gone are the medical requirements. 🏳️⚧️
The law isn't perfect (a 3-month delay is to be observed before the change takes effect; minors will have to go through a dispute in court if their parents oppose the change), but it's still a huge step forward.

Yes, I'm sure they do. You know what actually happens? The people who don't want to hear about it, will unfollow you. The people who *do* try to follow the topic already see so much about it that it becomes overwhelming, and they will start detaching from it. You're achieving the literal opposite of what you want.
(To be clear, I'm not talking about personal experience posts here, but about the people boosting an endless stream of non-actionable doom articles from news outlets, political parties, etc.)

Depressing to think that this economic system of ours has consigned so many of the most talented and knowledgeable people to have ever existed to nonsense like optimising for ad clicks.
No neutral allocations, every bright mind coerced into the cult of inane capitalist bullshit is an act of violence - a thousand harms which could've been prevented left unaddressed in favour of creating new ones.

The recipient said "stop". The Kagi dude didn't stop. That is really the only part of the story here that matters, and in that context I'm not sure where the confusion around an upset response comes from, because that seems pretty clearly problematic.
