CW your damn politics, genocide, etc. posts! And preferably don't boost un-CWed ones either, link to them in a CW'ed post of your own instead.

Yes, I'm sure they do. You know what actually happens? The people who don't want to hear about it, will unfollow you. The people who *do* try to follow the topic already see so much about it that it becomes overwhelming, and they will start detaching from it. You're achieving the literal opposite of what you want.

(To be clear, I'm not talking about personal experience posts here, but about the people boosting an endless stream of non-actionable doom articles from news outlets, political parties, etc.)
