WIP of some more lowpoly fox 3D prints I created. Soon I will have the gang back together again. :3

Printed on an #Ender3 and painted with acrylics.

They will be again for sale around the end of the year, with optional winter hats. I'm curious about opinions on pricing. I will attach a poll to a followup post, if you want to fill it out. ^.^

* #Herd immunity did not happen.
* #Omicron was not mild.
* #Kids do get sick.
* #Transmission does occur in schools.
* Each #variant is not milder.
* No #wave has been an exit wave.
#Minimizers have been wrong about every
single one of those things..🦠

buying a new pixie.town ssd to house all your stinky toots

keeping mastodon rent low by firing my fedigun out the window at midnight for a week or so

it's actually pretty weird because the tootctl media progress only reports 130489 files to process 🤔

mastodon folder has more than 139 billion files, and transfer failed because the new server ssd storage doesn't have enough space left (more than 140GB)...

fediverse, beginner's guide

Decided to have a shot at writing a very concise guide to the fediverse, because a lot of the guides are quite long: gist.github.com/joepie91/f924e

Hope this is helpful to someone!

one of the kids at scouts camp had this and uhh i might have to go shopping

reading documentation for React Final Form (form management library) while playing Sampa The Great - Final Form

and it's going to have to go through this all at least once more, with the instance shut down, so it's fully complete

(and the old server still uses stinky spinning rust so yeahh)

fucking hell there's more than 43 billion files in my mastodon public dir (it's been transferring for 2+ hours now)

meta, colonialism

It just occurred to me how uncomfortably close the behaviour of many new Twitter users here, is to colonialism.

Disregarding local culture and population, assuming they know better about what "works", acting as if they're the first to discover this magical fediverse and it is theirs to shape and control. Loudly declaring that they're here to tell everybody how to "make it scale".
