Domain squatter is a bad term.

Real life squatters are taking something held out of use and returning it to use. That's pretty cool.

What we call "domain squatters" are really "domain speculators."

Speculators in real life hold things away from use to try to extract value from people who want to make good use of it. They're bad and should be eliminated.

This is what domain speculators do. They are also bad and should similarly be eliminated.

already like the hand feel more than my A2, big thing to get used to is the power and volume cluster being reversed :")

New (old secondhand) Pixel 5 is getting nicely set up, installed Lineage without a hitch and have most stuff configured

this is so nice, Nova launcher import/export shared over 'nearby devices', and it places ghost icons for all the apps I haven't installed yet with the ability to look them up when tapped

reindex done, fs backup done, about halfway through postgres dump

this migration involves lots of waiting and I keep tabbing to Matrix (my normal procrastination habit) and realizing it's offline

after this other postgres business is finished, I can ZFS snapshot the filesystem-level backup, and rsync over just the last changes too
