@f0x there are so much things to worry about when doing frontend work … why would people disregard that as something "lesser"?

Backend software can be huge and inefficient, and most people won't even notice.
But the frontend: Load times, locally served resources, accessibility, compatibility, useful error handling, design work, security & isolation, actually using the awful APIs, keeping track of states, …

made my own cheeserito, with leftover 'stampot', it's very nice (so tortilla filled with stampot, cheese, another tortilla) grilled in a pan

and no, amount of dependencies doesn't mean anything, it's a fundamentally different model from most other languages
