so uh earlier today after basically everything worked, I accidentally shorted something and fried the STM32 chip that brains it all...

ordered a replacement for just the STM32 and hope that's all that needs replacing

did get a real nice pic before that tho

poor sudoku solver

(this is also your reminder to imbue programs with personality)

Show thread

so step 1; I can solve simple sudoku's (wow easy!)
now step 2; it utterly fails at harder sudoku's (wow hard)
so will probably need to think up a better algo for those

the basic one is here git.pixie.town/f0x/sudoku/src/

so far i haven't looked at anyone else's implementations/strategies, so curious how far I'll get

thought making a sudoku solver would be a nice little programming challenge, let's hope it's not way too complicated

ooo most remaining quadcopter parts arriving tomorrow

You've got some nice memes against tesla, elon musk (and the culture around him) and green capitalism?

Send us some. #Tesla is talking to us on twitter, and they talk to much shit....

today really made me realize that my brain fog is almost completely caused by the big sad.
Had a great day with international friends, and felt awake, alive and active all day

quite some similarities between mr robot and mr nobody (besides the name of course)

so far heard both where is my mind and daydreams, beautifully filmed, especially the transitions, and I guess the general feel

so I've started searching where quote fragments in some of my favorite songs came from, so tonight I am watching Mr Nobody, after listening to this part of pluko's outer thoughts vol. 1 countless times
the fragment starts at youtu.be/SpL59A0HUH4?t=400

due to the way my window manager works the main focus will always be laptop screen, and then an editor or code output/browser on the external monitor(s)

I mean the obvious conclusion to this is that I really just want to build a nice thinclient to stay at my desk, but that's money
